The Lifecycle of a Temporary Email
When you visit 30mail.in, our backend immediately allocates a unique identifier for your session. This identifier is mapped to a temporary database entry with a strict 30-minute Time-To-Live (TTL).
Any email sent to your temporary address is received by our SMTP relay, which instantly pushes the data to your browser via WebSockets. This means you don't even need to refresh the page to see your verification codes or OTPs.
Security & Privacy Guaranteed
Unlike other providers that might store logs for "analytical purposes," our cleanup worker is ruthless. Once the 30-minute timer hits zero, the mapping, the inbox metadata, and every single received message are hard-deleted from our SQLite database.
We do not store backups of temporary inboxes. Once it's gone, it's gone forever, ensuring your data never falls into the wrong hands.
